SOLERA STARZ Dance Aerobics Club Information
WHAT ARE THE FOLLOWING?
KICKBALL CHANGE? GRAPEVINE? WEAVE? PIVOT TURN?
They are some of the dance steps you can learn by joining the first club formed in Solera (2006). The one hour, non-stop activity classes, start with a warm-up, major activities of the day, and a cool-down period. All the activities are accompanied by music appropriate to the dance steps and movements of the club members.
Session Schedule
Each day of the weekly 8:30 a.m. sessions has a different emphasis that not only provides variety in movements, but also a variety in the music accompanying the exercise program. The typical week includes:
• Monday: Stretch Bands and Aerobics with Latin Music
• Tuesday: Cardio Workout to a video and workouts with weights
• Wednesday: Aerobics, Dances, Weights workout to music
• Friday: Same as Wednesday, but we occasionally add Folk Dances
New members or beginners are introduced to the dance steps and
exercises and learn to slowly increase their activity levels for each class.
The Solera Starz Club is also sponsoring Line Dancing sessions held on
Monday evenings, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
