Volunteers Who Serve Our Community

Volunteers are the backbone of any community—as they say, it takes a village! They see a need and give time and energy to fill that need. Solera has a wonderful group of volunteers that serve on several committees and perform vital functions for their fellow homeowners and residents.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS COMMITTEE

In order for any community to function, rules must be in place to insure that all homeowners can enjoy their homes and the common areas. This committee reviews the rules of the community and makes adjustments as needed to keep the community happy, comfortable and peaceful. As changes aren't needed too often, this committee meets as needed in the MGM Conference Room of the Clubhouse.

COVENANTS COMMITTEE

Of course, not everyone in the community abides by the rules all the time. It's not often, but occasionally someone needs to appear before this committee of fellow homeowners to review a problem and come to a resolution. While this isn't a comfortable committee on which to serve, it's necessary. The committee meets as needed on the 2nd Monday of the month in the MGM Conference Room. These proceedings are confidential and only open to the committee and those called to appear.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Finance Committee has a very important job, to review the finances and expenditures of the association to be sure your money is spent wisely. This committee reviews the financials to compare our budget to actual performance as well as reviews any major items coming from other committees for funding.

The committee also drafts the proposed budget for each fiscal year. The budget is then sent to the Board of Directors and finally to the homeowners for approval. The committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Stardust Room of the Clubhouse.
